ADAC MX Masters 2025 season opener

In keeping with tradition, SHR Motorsports by Hartje kicked off the 2025 ADAC MX Masters season in the deep sand of Fürstlich Drehna. The team was represented by Dawid Zaremba in the Junior Cup 125, Jakob Zweiacker in the Youngster Cup and Mike Stender and Emil Weckman in the Masters class. We were also supported by none other than three-time Le Touquet winner Milko Potisek from France.

First race – Youngster Cup

Jakob Zweiacker opened the race Saturday for the SHR Motorsports by Hartje Team and unfortunately did not get out of the starting gate in the best possible way. He went down after a small mistake in the first few corners and had to chase the field. With a lot of fighting spirit, he worked his way up to 29th place.

First race – Masters

The start in the Masters class was not ideal for our Riders either. Milko Potisek showed all his experience and fought his way up from 18th place to an excellent 6th place. Emil Weckman impressed with 16th place, while Mike Stender was less fortunate: he had to retire from the race two laps before the end due to a technical defect after a tough duel.

Sunday – Raceday Junior Cup 125

Dawid Zaremba started his race day with a rocket start and turned into the first corner in 4th place. Unfortunately, he also crashed when a rider in front of him crashes and Dawid was unable to avoid him. With an incredible race to catch up, he fought his way up from 34th to 17th place.

Jakob Zweiacker again struggled at the start, but his ambition enabled him to improve from 34th place on the first lap to 28th place as the race progressed.

Second race – Masters

In the second race, our riders showed strong catch-up performances:

Milko Potisek started from 17th place and impressively fought his way up to 10th place. Emil Weckman started the race from 13th position and moved up to 11th place with a strong performance. Mike Stender drove solidly and secured his first championship point of the season in 20th place.

Second race – Junior Cup 125

Dawid Zaremba got off to another great start and drove a strong race. He came out of the first lap in 12th place and immediately moved up to 10th place on lap two. With strong duels he was able to fight his way up to 8th place, but lost 2 places towards the end due to small mistakes. He finished the race in a great 10th place and thus secured 13th place overall for the day.

Third race – Youngster Cup

Jakob Zweiacker confirmed his improvement: with 26th place in the second race, he finished the weekend in 28th place overall.

Third race – Masters

In the final race, the “big boys” gave it their all once again: Milko Potisek got off to a good start. Mike Stender, who remained mentally strong after a crash at the start, impressively worked his way back to 16th place and was thus able to climb to 22nd place in the weekend rankings.

Potisek was safely in 8th place for a long time, but crashed shortly before the end of the race and finished 12th, which meant 8th place overall.

Emil Weckman had to retire early from the third race due to an injury. Despite the zero point round, he still achieved 15th place in the weekend classification.
